THE STARTING POINT
Connect course completion with workplace practice, feedback and continuing support.
Choose a follow-up activity.
Identify a task learners can complete after the session to apply the material. Confirm that it is appropriate for their role and access. Explain what evidence they should bring to a review, while avoiding unnecessary collection of confidential workplace information.
Agree the review conversation.
Decide who will discuss the activity with the learner and what questions they should cover. Review decisions and support needs rather than relying only on a completion certificate. Give reviewers enough context to connect the training content with the task being discussed.
Keep further support visible.
List where learners can find resources or ask for clarification after the course. Use recurring questions to identify material that needs improvement. Follow-up should help people continue practicing without making unsupported assumptions about the business impact of attendance alone.
